Emergency What's News Special Offer
(14 July 2017)

This one-stop web portal, we60.com, is an e-magazine targeted for those approaching 60 or beyond.  It was launched on Mother’s Day (14 May 2017) and since then we have received overwhelming support from our circle of friends and friends of friends.  Starting from this month we shall be reaching out to professional bodies, service organisations, unions, staff associations, etc. to seek their help in making our portal known to their members so that they can also benefit from the wide range of information we provide.

There are altogether 8 topics in we60.com with a Page of Today to highlight new and useful information. These 8 topics are:

Home (home design, home safety, homecare services, nursing homes)
Dining (eating out, healthy eating, home cooking, recipes, lost flavours)
Style (fashion, personal and skin care, social etiquette)
Travel (local travels, heritage and eco tours, overseas travelling tips)
Health (healthy living, common health problems, health support products)
Joy (lifelong learning, employment, asset management, support for elders)
Leisure (cultural and recreational facilities and activities, hobbies)
Love (relationship with family and friends, carers, finding old friends)

In order to make we60.com more user-friendly to readers, we shall upgrade our infrastructure so that downloading of pages can be speedier, access to specific information easier, and navigation on our mobile version much clearer.  We are also trying out our page on Facebook, which is not easy at our age, but which is something we, the “Green Age” group, must start to learn.

Our purpose is to remind our readers how wonderful this world is and what we can do to make ourselves healthy and happy.  This portal is developed and managed by a group of disabled persons partnered with a group of retirees who are like mentors to them.  We count on our readers to take part in our various forums and share with each other their thoughts and views on our everyday lives as well as the pains and gains of getting old.  We welcome photos, poems, quotes, recipes, etc. to make we60.com interesting, informative and useful.
