Introduction: Lemon is rich in vitamin C and organic acids.  It can curb the formation of melanin and has a whitening effect.  Lemon is also rich in vitamin B and can lead to healthy skin tissues.  Lemon juice helps digestion, promotes appetite and refreshes the mind.  Lemon juice contains a lot of citrate and can inhibit the formation of calcium salt crystals and prevent kidney stones.
 
Note: Lemon has a bitter and sour taste, and people with stomach ulcer, hyperacidity, intestine and stomach problems, toothache and so on should not consume lemon.  Lemon has alpha hydroxy acids and can react with protein in milk to form condensed matter which is not easily digestible and can lead to diarrhea.  So lemon should not be used together with milk.
