Museum is the guardian of knowledge.  The collections of museums provide opportunities for us to know the changes of society and the development of human life and thoughts.  In recent years, museums focus more on the presentation of their exhibits, so that visitors can have better understanding of the collections and get more inspiration. Visiting museums can take us back in time to history, and it is also a very entertaining and educational activity.

Most of Hong Kong's museums are public museums  governed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department. Admission is free for persons aged 60 or above.  There are also M+ museum, Hong Kong Palace Museum in West Kowloon as well as a number of other museums which conserve and display private collections, most of which offer concessionary entrance fees, or even free entrance for green age people.
