Most of today's young people do not like to listen to their elders and chatter, but in the United States, an 86-year-old woman has become a network red, and many young people regard her as an idol. Do you know who this old woman is? Yes, she is one of the US Supreme Court Justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg, known as Notorious RBG.
Ruth entered Harvard Law School in 1956 and was one of nine students among 500 students. She received her bachelor's degree in law with her first class. Unfortunately, the American legal profession was very resistant to female lawyers. Although Ruth graduated with the best results, no law firm in New York City was willing to hire her. In the end, she could only get a professor at the university. Later, Ruth made her appear because of a sex discrimination case. She defended a number of cases involving gender discrimination from 1972 to 1978, including the first case of the 14th Amendment Equal Protection Clause of the US Constitution to the protection of women's rights and interests, setting a milestone for gender equality. In 1993, Ruth was nominated by US President Bill Clinton as the US Supreme Court Justice, and finally appointed by 96 to 3, becoming the first Jewish female judge in American history.
For many years, Ruth has been striving for equal rights between men and women. In the documentary "Judge RBG", she will come out and talk about how to embark on the road to equality between the two sexes. In addition to a little more understanding of the background of the judicial queen, the documentary will also be able to appreciate her powerful words, and everyone will surely admire its refined writing. Another film, "The Queen of Justice", which is based on Ruth, is equally exciting. The feelings of Ruth and her husband who have surpassed half a century must have impressed many hearts.
