Wo Cheong Pawn House
Wo Cheong Pawn House, composed of 4 4-storey buildings, was built between 1888 to 1900 on reclaimed land. The 4 buildings are connected by a long veranda. It has high ceilings and light wells, large French windows opening into the veranda, which covers the pedestrian street underneath. There were living quarters above the shops on the lower floors, a typical design of commercial buildings at the time.
After revitalizing, Wo Cheong Pawn House is now a Wan Chai landmark for exhibition and culinary experience, exhibiting the pawn shop in the past.
