                                                  年末大掃除(按此找幫手),把家居打掃一新,為新的一年,迎來好氣象,已不只是傳統習俗了,是家家戶戶都希望做到的事。即使多忙碌,到了年末,無論要年尾收爐,或預備舉家外遊,在新一年來臨前,都趕著先把家居先打掃得乾乾淨淨才過年。

                                                  許多綠齡人士,家中未必有幫傭,即使有,也想趁此機會好好的整理一下家中雜物,然而大掃除,就算家居只有幾百呎,也不是易事,稍一不留神,扭傷筋骨,可不是說笑的。所以在做大掃除前,先看看以下幾項建議,有助提高效率,也保障安全:

                                                  1. 規劃先後次序,先上而下,先內而外,從乾處到濕處。

                                                    • 先決定廳、房、廚、廁,哪一個地方是今年的清潔重點,考慮因素包括:
                                                      1. 空間在平日使用的順暢度,是否要重新整理,改善不暢的問題,包括減少積存已久的雜物;
                                                      2. 所積聚的污漬、霉菌、塵埃是否太多,有影響健康的可能。
                                                    • 以「先上而下」,「先內而外」、「從乾處到濕處」的原則來規劃,例如先抹床頂天花板的塵,再抹窗,最後才抹床及地板,這樣天花板的塵,先處理房間和廳,後處理廚房,最後廁所。
                                                    • 開始打掃前,先將整理過的床、衣櫃、書櫃等傢俱覆蓋好,再做全面清潔,才不會重覆工序。
                                                    • 按能力分配工作,將高空、拆卸及搬抬重物的工作交給年輕力壯的家人或家務助理 來做。

                                                  2. 使用合適的工具

                                                    • 預備的工具包括含清潔劑的水桶1個、過水水桶1個,乾抹布2條,濕抹布1條
                                                    • 使用的清潔工具要輕巧、有效及容易清潔,即使髒了,也不用費力清洗。
                                                    • 清潔污漬 可用有效而不危險的清潔劑 。用前先了解每種清潔劑的成份、用途及使用方法,以免弄錯用途或份量。
                                                    • 如一定要用鏹水,最好找有經驗的專業人士幫助,鏹水不可混合哥士,因混合後會產生高溫釋放大量水蒸氣,不但逼爆喉管,濺出會灼傷皮膚。鏹水也不可混合漂白水,因會冒煙產生氯氣,吸入會影響呼吸道,嚴重可中毒身亡。
                                                    • 避免用漂白水洗廁所,因為漂白水,尿液混合後,會產生氯胺,長期吸入會影響健康。
                                                    • 使用清潔劑應戴口罩手套

                                                  3. 留意清潔劑用法及次序

                                                    • 先用乾抹布抹去物件的塵,再用濕抹布。
                                                    • 用前先過清水,然後浸清潔劑水,濕抺布抺後,用乾抹布吸水,這樣一來可以令濕抹布減少沾有灰塵,也可以讓過水水桶換水換少一點。
                                                    • 最後再用另一條乾抹布抹乾地方,就不用等風乾。

                                                  4. 大掃除可以做的與不該做的

                                                    可以做的

                                                    • 大掃除前先做熱身運動,清掃完成後要做伸展操。如有需要,也記得用護具,例如護腰。
                                                    • 僅記所有洗抺盡量用暖水。
                                                    • 記住抹窗三大要訣:伸手不伸頭、工具要綁緊,勿以窗花借力。
                                                    • 抹天花時要用梯,不可站於桌子或椅子,若天花板有霉菌只可用乾布抹拭。
                                                    • 搬重物時應以雙腿代替腰部發力,姿勢要正確
                                                    • 拖地板時要先從屋內部拖至大門,以免滑倒。開始前更要清走雜物,還要開除濕機、電風扇,可加速地板乾爽。若是打掃中將地板弄濕,也要立刻擦乾。
                                                    • 若要拆卸或是拿樓梯來清洗高處的窗戶,至少要兩人以上互相幫助。甚或請其他人代勞。
                                                    • 請專業清洗外窗的公司來清潔較妥當。
                                                    • 清洗電器用品時,應先注意使用規則,選擇適當的洗滌方式。用水沖洗時,也要將電源拔除和保持接頭乾燥。

                                                    不可以做的

                                                    • 家居地板應避免打蠟,以免滑倒
                                                    • 進行家務時,褲子不應長得被拖鞋絆住。
                                                    • 避免長時間做家務,應中段休息,待體力恢復再做
                                                    • 住高樓的,不要隨便抺窗,最好請專業人士幫忙。
                                                    • 千萬不可將身體伸出窗外,不要踩到鋁框上,也不要拉住窗框作為支撐。這樣除了會磨損門窗,也容易發生意外
                                                    • 千萬不要將清潔劑放入飲料容器中,例如紙杯膠杯,以免他人誤以為是飲料而喝下!
                                                    • 千萬不要隨便混合多種清潔劑使用。
                                                    • 使用梯子時不要只移動身體來接近要清潔的地方,避免重心不穩摔倒受傷。地板不平、濕滑也盡量不要使用梯架。
                                                    • 清潔劑、或是沾有甲醇、酒精的抹布等易燃品不應接近火源,如瓦斯爐或者是熱水器。

                                                  抺窗指南

                                                  過去幾年,有不少家居意外是清潔家居時發生的,尤其抺窗。住在高樓的,抺窗是高危的活動,如非必要,就僅僅抹面向屋裏的窗面,向戶外的則交由專業人士代勞。而且窗戶保養有一定的要求,政府屋宇署都有指引,不是只抺抺就足夠。要是窗戶真太骯髒,市面不少抹窗電器,也可以考慮選購。

                                                  收納小貼士

                                                  清潔家居前,先要整理雜物,趁著大掃除好好整理一下積存多年的東西,也是為了未來作準備。收納整理,內裏學問可多著,坊間有不少書介紹各種各樣的收納法,可參考一下,再決定為自己家居找出最適合的方案。以下是一些收納小貼士,可供參考:

                                                  1. 將東西分為:(1)常用的物品;(2)未來三個月或半年會用上的物品;和(3)不再使用或猶豫是否應丟掉的物品。先處理(1)及(2)類東西的收納,而第(3)類東西則可再分為收藏、不合用及回收三類。
                                                  2. 整理物品存放系統時,把貯存空間分上中下三層。上層是你頭頂以上的範圍,放一年只用一、兩次的東西,中層是從你視線開始至下腹的範圍,是放常用的東西。下層是下腹以下的範圍,收納不常用卻有重量的東西,或者偶然會拿來看看的私人收藏。
                                                  3. 為分類、整理及收藏設定時限,可以減少猶豫,也令過程爽快有效,省卻不少精力。
                                                  4. 考慮丟掉物品可根據這原則:(1)思考物品是否已盡其用途;(2) 保留有多樣用途,而非單一用途的;(3)有明確而清楚的丟掉理由。
                                                  5. 購買收納物品,以輕巧而易於提取為原則。
