(Public housing units in Taiwan are built by the Government and rented to low-income groups, many of whom are the elderly. In recent years, the Taipei Government has launched a project to improve the interior layout of public housing so as to provide a living space that better suits the elderly's needs. The results are compiled in a handbook.)
