The ecotourism sites introduced on these pages are located fairly far away from downtown Hong Kong and a trip to any of them and back may take 2-4 hours. So it is advisable for you to start early so that you can get back before nightfall. Some associations and travel agencies in Hong Kong organize Guided Tours where tour guides are assigned to lead groups of visitors and explain the sites to them.
