Radish       1kg
Salt          1/2 table spoon
Soya sauce    7 table spoons
Vinegar       11/2 table spoons
Sugar         2 table spoons

  1. Don’t peel the radish. Just wash and slice thinly.
  2. Mix the radish with table salt well and leave for 30 minutes until the water comes out.
  3. Pour out the water and squeeze the radish to dry.
  4. Add not more than 1/2 tbsp sugar and mix them well. Squeeze again after 30 minutes.
  5. Repeat the step above and squeeze the water.
  6. Add soy sauce, white sugar, vinegar and water to the squeezed sliced radish.
  7. Mix them up. Let the radish soak in the sauce. Cover the bottle and store in the refrigerator around two days before serving.
