Chayote                2 pc
Tender pork ribs          500g
Ginger                 1 slice
Sweet and bitter almonds  1 tablespoon
Dried figs               2 pcs
Salt                    as needed
  1. Cut tender rips into pieces
  2. Wash, peel and pit the chayotes, then cut into pieces. Wash figs and almonds. Put ginger.
  3. Wash tender ribs and scald in boiling water to bring the blood out.
  4. Boil water in pot and add all ingredients into pot. When boiling, skim off the scum floating on the surface. Simmer for 1.5 or 2 hours.
  5. Season with salt before serving.
